Celeste Silva, loving Mother and Nana, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 4, 2008, at the age of 89 at The White Sands of La Jolla due to complications related to congestive heart failure. She was born and raised in Lowell, Massachusetts and came to San Diego in the early 1950's. She is preceded in death by her husband John. She is survived by her daughter Barbara, her son Tom and daughter-in-law, Sue. She was blessed with five grandchildren, Debbie, Kim, Mike, Michelle, Lisa and 14 great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. Services will be held at El Camino Memorial Park, Sorrento Valley Chapel, on Wednesday, January 9th, at noon. El Camino Memorial Park is located at 5600 Carroll Canyon Road, San Diego, CA 92121
