Jennie, also known as Concetta or Concetina, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all, passed away on her feast day of the Immaculate Conception, December 8th, at the age of 95. She was the daughter of Girolimo and Adelina Navarra, and was a first generation San Diegan. She is preceded in death by her husband and soul-mate of 64 years, Alfred G. Santos, her sister Connie Nunez, and brothers Vincent and Sam Navarra. She is survived by her three daughters, Mary (Phil) Mickelson, Adeline (Roy) Woodward, and Freda (Tony) Iraci; seven grandchildren Tina (Eric) Topacio, Philip (Amy) Mickelson, Tim Mickelson, Lisa Iraci, Anthony (Noemi) Iraci; Jennie (Greg) Spounias, Alfred Smith, and step-granddaughter Renee Woodward; seven great-grandchildren Amanda, Sophia and Evan Mickelson; Brandon, Mason and Addison Jenal Spounias; and Matthew Iraci; sisters-in-law Esther Navarra and Donna Santos; brother-in-law Ted Santos; and her lifelong and dearest friend Frances Iraci. Jennie was deeply involved in her church community of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She was a member and Past President of the Altar Society, a Charter member of the Catholic Daughters of America, and member of the Italian-Catholic Federation Branch 246.
