Domingos Silveira Machado passed away November 8, 2008. He was 89 years old. Domingos was born December 5, 1918, in Pico, Azores, Portugal and a resident of San Diego for forty-eight years. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Maria Etelvina, daughter Berta and grandson John S. Machado. Domingos is survived by his wife of eighteen years Maria Elisa, sons John (Elsa), Luis (Sharla), and daughter Ida Killen. Also, Maria's daughters, Fatima Teles (Tony) and Elisa Costa (Rui), six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Friday, November 14, 2008, at 9:15 a.m., Saint Agnes Catholic Church, 1140 Evergreen St., Point Loma, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Drive, San Diego.
