Louie Luz Sr. passed away suddenly Friday, November 13th. Louie was born in Madeira, Portugal to Jose and Matilda Daluz; moved to San Diego in 1956. He met and married Cheryl Coomes at the age of 19. They had two children. Later in his life, he had another daughter whom he loved. He spent his final years fishing, working, and enjoying life. He had a very big heart, and would do anything for his friends and family. He is survived by son Louie Luz Jr., daughter Eva Luz, daughter-in-law Molly Luz, grandchildren Jake, Tyler and Emma Luz, sisters Connie Ruckle, and Dorothy Tallerino. He was predeceased by his daughter Shari Lynn Luz, and many other family members.

Services will be held November 25th, at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Agnes Church.
