JOSEPH ANTHONY "Zaba" passed away on March 15, 2009, after a long illness. He was 84. A resident of the Veterans' Home in Chula Vista, he was born in Lowell, MA, on March 30, 1924, and raised in Point Loma. He was a commercial fisherman all his life and a Navy veteran of World War II. He is survived by his two sons, Joseph Jr. and John. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Agnes Church in Point Loma.
