A native San Diegan, he is survived by his three beautiful children, son Sean Cerny, daughters Alexa and Karessa Cerny of Point Loma; sisters, Stephanie Bloom (Mike and Tess) Marina, and Kelly Madruga (Matt, Loriana and Alyssa) of Point Loma. He was the greatest dad, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend. His children were everything to him. He even changed careers to be their #1 dad. He traveled the world as captain and navigator in the commercial tuna industry for 25 years before his current job running Icon International S.D. division. Volunteering for many organizations - UPSES Board of Directors, Peninsula Youth Softball coach, a generous man with a generous heart, whoever knew him loved him! He will be greatly missed.

Funeral Services on Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at 9:30 a.m., at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 2802 Cadiz Street.
