Elvera V. Monteiro, 91, of California died Wednesday. She was born in San Diego and was a salesclerk for Delta Drugstore. She was a member of Cabrillo Civic Club 16. Survivors include her sisters, Rita Ballatore and Angie Mauricio; and several nieces and nephews.

Mass: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1140 Evergreen St., San Diego.

Interment: after services, Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Drive, San Diego.

Donations: Cabrillo Civic Club 16, SES Hall, 2818 Avenida De Portugal, San Diego, CA 92106.
